We compared capacity, wattage, owner ratings, and value for money across the best-selling air fryers on Shopee Philippines. We favored models with strong review counts and, where possible, a real brand with local warranty. Will a 3.5L basket actually feed your family?

Capacity is the first thing to get right. A 3.5L–4L basket is fine for one or two people, but a family of four will outgrow it fast. Step up to 5L–6L and you can cook a full batch of crispy pata or a big pile of fries in one go. Need to feed a crowd? A 7L basket or a 25L air fryer oven cooks even more.

Wattage affects how fast the fryer heats and how evenly it crisps. Models below 1200W can leave food unevenly cooked; 1400–1500W is the sweet spot for home use.

Controls and window. Digital touch panels let you set exact temperatures and presets. A viewing window lets you check browning without yanking out the basket and dumping the heat.

Brand and warranty. A named brand (Midea, Kyowa, Imarflex, Dowell) usually means real local support. No-name units are cheaper, but harder to get fixed.

The Imarflex CVO-308DFR earns Best Premium as a full air fryer oven with a perfect 5.0 rating, though from only 26 owners.

What a litre of basket space costs on this list

Capacity is what most people are really paying for, so it helps to divide the price by the litres you get. Every figure below is the listing price on the day we checked it.

Three of the ten need a note before you read that column. The Imarflex CVO-308DFR is an oven, so its 30 L is shelf space you load trays into, not a basket you fill: its ₱326 is not the same litre as everyone else’s. The Gaabor 4L bundle ships with a 1.8L rice cooker, so part of that ₱650 buys a second appliance. And the Gaabor 8-Preset is one listing sold in six sizes, from 2L to 8L, so there is no single figure to quote: around ₱1,100 as of August 22, 2026 buys a different basket depending on the size you pick.

The cheapest litre is not the best buy, and this list shows why. The Electrolux gives you nine litres for ₱100 each, the lowest on the page, from a third-party reseller with no warranty stated on the listing. The Midea costs almost eight times as much per litre and is still our Best Overall, because you are also paying for a 2050W element, an official brand store, and the local support that comes with it. Read the column as “how much basket am I getting”, not as a ranking.

What these ten cost to run for a month

Air fryers look power-hungry on the box and are cheap in practice, because they only run for 10 to 20 minutes. At Meralco’s ₱14.78 per kWh, here is a 20-minute session, and a month of five sessions a week.

The whole spread is about ₱134 a month between the thriftiest and the hungriest, which is less than the price gap between any two picks on this list. So do not choose on wattage to save money. Choose on it for speed: the 800W Gaabor takes noticeably longer to get hot than the 1450W units, and the 2050W Midea is the fastest here. Two picks are missing from the table on purpose. The OOKAS 7L and the Gaabor 8-Preset do not state a wattage on their listings, and we will not print a number we cannot source.

What 18,344 owner ratings actually tell you

Between them, these ten listings carry 18,344 Shopee ratings at a weighted average of 4.9. That sounds like a lot of agreement, and it is, but the count is not spread evenly, and that matters more than the average.

Two listings hold 81% of it: the Gaabor 4L Multi-Functional has 10,216 ratings and the OOKAS 7L has 4,623. At the other end, the Imarflex IAF-955DG has 25 and the Imarflex CVO-308DFR has 26. A perfect 5.0 from 26 people and a 4.8 from 4,623 people are not the same evidence, even though the 5.0 looks better. One bad batch would move the first number and barely dent the second.

So read the ratings this way. Where the count is in the thousands, treat the score as settled: the Gaabor and OOKAS baskets do what they say. Where the count is in the dozens, treat it as an early signal and lean harder on the brand and the shop instead. That is part of why the Midea takes Best Overall on 145 ratings: an official brand store with local warranty carries the weight that a small sample cannot.

Which of these fits your household?

One or two people, small counter. The Astron AF260D 3.8L or the Gaabor 4L. Both hold enough for two servings of chicken, and the Gaabor is the cheapest way onto this list.

A family of three to five. This is the 5L to 6L band, and it is where the Midea 5.5L and the Simplus 5L sit. Take the Midea if you want the brand and the speed, the Simplus if you want the litres for the least money and can live with a plasticky shell.

Batch cooking, or a big household. The OOKAS 7L is the sulit answer, and the Electrolux 9L is the biggest basket here if you are comfortable with a reseller listing.

You want to bake and roast too. Only the Imarflex CVO-308DFR does that, with trays and a rotisserie. It costs the most and takes the most counter space, and no basket fryer on this list replaces it.

Where these picks fall short

Every one of the ten has something we would want you to know before you tap buy, and it is usually the same three things.

Wattage is missing on three listings. The OOKAS 7L and both Gaabor entries do not publish one, so preheat speed is a guess until you own it. The Gaabor 8-Preset is the worst of these, because its wattage changes with the size you order.

Knob controls, not digital. Both Gaabor picks use a manual dial. That is fine for reheating and fries, and it means you cannot set an exact 165°C the way you can on the Midea, the Astron or the Simplus.

The shop is not always the brand. The Electrolux 9L is our Best Budget and it comes from a third-party seller, with no warranty stated on the listing. Electrolux the brand is not the one selling it to you. If a two-year local warranty matters more than the price, the Midea and the two Imarflex picks come from official stores.

Two smaller ones worth naming: the Astron’s 4.6 is the lowest owner rating on this list, and the Simplus feels plasticky for its size. Neither is a reason to skip them, but both are the reason they rank where they rank.
