Pros and cons

✓ Pros

  • H13 filter grade at the lowest price of any H13 unit here
  • Publishes both CADR and a coverage range, unlike most budget rivals
  • A4-sized footprint fits on a side table or a shelf

✗ Cons

  • No air quality sensor, so it cannot adjust itself
  • Composite filter combines the stages, so one clogged layer means replacing all of it
  • Thin owner feedback compared with the Simplus and Xiaomi units

The Gaabor H13 is the cheapest genuine H13 purifier we rank: a published 120 m³/h CADR over a stated 20 to 25 sqm, in an A4-sized footprint, with a 12-month warranty, for around ₱1,800 as of August 12, 2026.

Why does it deserve attention?

Because its numbers agree with each other, which is rarer than it should be in the budget tier.

Gaabor publishes 120 m³/h CADR and claims 20 to 25 sqm coverage. Run the standard sizing rule (CADR of at least five times the floor area) and 120 m³/h properly covers about 24 sqm. The claim and the specification line up almost exactly.

That sounds like a small thing. It is not. Most budget listings in this category pair a modest output with a wildly optimistic coverage claim, and a listing whose own numbers survive a cross-check has told you something real about the seller.

It also uses H13 media, which captures 99.95% of particles at the hardest-to-catch size, against roughly 95% for the H11 filters on comparable budget units. At ₱1,800 that grade used to be impossible.

What are you giving up?

Three things, and none of them are dealbreakers at this price.

No air quality sensor, so no auto mode. You set a fan speed and it holds it. The 9-hour timer covers overnight running.

The composite filter combines pre-filter, HEPA and carbon into one cartridge. It keeps the unit small and cheap, but when one layer is exhausted, usually the carbon or a clogged surface, you replace all of it. Units with a separate washable pre-filter, like the Levoit Vital 100S, let you rinse the cheap part and keep the expensive part.

Thin owner feedback. This listing has far fewer ratings than the Simplus or Xiaomi units, so there is less independent evidence behind the claims.

Is it sulit?

Around ₱1,800 as of August 12, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee.

Across its 12-month warranty, that is about ₱5 a day for the covered period, plus filter replacements.

On filter grade per peso it is the best deal in our ranking. The closest comparison is the Simplus AirCare 2 Lite at around ₱2,100: quieter at 25 dB and with a 2-year warranty, but only H11 and a lower 80 m³/h. For ₱300 less, the Gaabor gives you the better filter and more airflow.

Step up to the Simplus AirCare 5 at around ₱3,100 and you get H13 with a claimed 330 m³/h, which is the better buy if the room is bigger than about 25 sqm.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you want H13 filtration in a bedroom of up to about 25 sqm for the least money possible, and you can live without a sensor. It is the right choice for putting a real purifier in a second bedroom or a kid’s room, and the A4-sized footprint means it fits on a shelf or a side table.

Skip it if you want the reassurance of thousands of owner ratings, or if your room is bigger than 25 sqm, where the AirCare 5 costs a little more and moves far more air.

Alternatives to consider

Want the same H13 grade with far more airflow and thousands of ratings behind it? The Simplus AirCare 5 is our Best Value pick, claiming 330 m³/h with a 2-year warranty. Want the quietest possible small unit and do not need H13? The Simplus AirCare 2 Lite publishes 25 dB and is our Best Budget pick.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a real H13 filter possible at this price?

Yes, and that is a genuine change in the category rather than a red flag. H13 filter media has become cheap to manufacture, so budget brands can now fit the grade that used to mean paying premium money. What you still do not get at this price is verified testing, a sensor, or a deep service network. The filter media itself is the real thing.

What is a composite filter, and why is it a drawback?

It combines the pre-filter, HEPA and carbon layers into one cartridge instead of keeping them separate. It keeps the unit small and cheap, but it means that when any one layer is exhausted, usually the carbon or the clogged pre-filter surface, you replace all of it. Units with a washable separate pre-filter let you rinse the cheap part and keep the expensive part longer.

Will 120 m³/h cover my bedroom?

For a room up to about 24 sqm, yes, using the rule that CADR should be at least five times the floor area. Gaabor's own 20 to 25 sqm claim lines up with that math, which is a good sign: most budget listings quote coverage their CADR cannot support. Measure your room, and if it is much over 25 sqm, look at a bigger unit.

Should I worry about the low number of ratings?

It means less real-world evidence, not that the product is bad. This listing has far fewer owner ratings than the Simplus or Xiaomi units, so there is a thinner base of feedback to check the claims against. Gaabor is an established brand with an official store and a 12-month warranty, so the risk is modest, but it is a reason to prefer better-evidenced units if you are undecided.
