Simplus Pink 1L dehumidifier review: desk-sized damp control

The Simplus Pink 1L is the smallest dehumidifier we rank: 500 ml a day, a 1L tank, smart humidity control and an LED ambient light, for around ₱2,400 as of August 12, 2026.

What is it for?

Very small, very enclosed spaces, and it is honest about being small in a way its bigger siblings are not.

At 500 ml a day this is a shoe cabinet, bedside drawer, camera dry box, or small aparador unit. In a confined space, half a liter of water a day is a real amount and you will watch the tank fill.

The smart humidity control is the feature that earns its place: it reads the room and cycles the machine off once the air hits target, rather than grinding away pointlessly in a space that is already dry. On a unit with a small tank, that also means fewer trips to the sink.

The LED ambient light turns it into a soft night light, which is a fair bonus on something destined for a bedside table.

Where does it fall short?

The tank, mostly.

1L of tank against 500 ml a day of extraction is the tightest ratio of any small dehumidifier here. You are emptying it every two days. By comparison the Tixx and Gaabor both carry 2.5L tanks holding three to five days of output. If you want to set a dehumidifier down and forget it, this is the wrong one.

One more thing to note: it is sold by SimplusPink Store, not the Simplus Official Shop that carries the LiteDry range. The product is Simplus-branded, but the official store is the safer counter for warranty.

Across its 1-year warranty, that is roughly ₱7 a day for the covered period.

The value picture is mixed. It costs the same as the HODEKT and around ₱700 more than the Tixx, while extracting less than half what the Tixx does and carrying a much smaller tank. On raw numbers it is not the best buy in this band.

What it sells instead is size and looks: a genuinely compact, pleasant-looking unit with a night light that fits where a boxier machine would not, backed by 4.9 from nearly 300 raters. That is a real reason for some buyers, and no reason at all for others.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you need damp control in a genuinely tiny space and you want something that looks good on a bedside table or a dresser rather than like an appliance. It is the right choice for a shoe cabinet, a small aparador, or a bedroom corner in a condo, where its size is the point.

Skip it if you want the most water removed per peso, or if emptying a tank every two days sounds like a chore you will stop doing after a fortnight.
