Why does it win this category?

Because it is the best of the budget units, by its own numbers.

Every peltier dehumidifier on Shopee PH sits in the same band, and they are separated by how much water they actually pull. This one claims 1,080 ml a day, against 750 ml for the Simplus LiteDry C5, 700 ml for the Gaabor, and 450 ml for the HODEKT. It is also the cheapest of the four.

It has by far the most owner feedback in the category too, at 4.9 from more than 6,500 raters with 10K+ sold.

What is the honest limit?

The listing says 40 to 60 sqm. It cannot do that, and we would rather say so plainly.

Here is the arithmetic. The machine removes about a liter of water a day. A single person breathing and perspiring in a room releases roughly that much in a day on their own, before you count cooking, showering, laundry, or humid air coming in through a door. In a 40 sqm sala it would be permanently losing.

What is it genuinely good at?

Small, enclosed spaces, where it is the right tool and a compressor unit would be absurd.

An aparador or clothes cabinet, a shoe rack, a camera dry box, a small bathroom, or the corner of a bedroom where condensation collects. In those, a liter a day is a lot of water, and you will see the tank fill.

The 2.5L tank is the practical strength: it is more than double the daily extraction, so the machine can run unattended for two days without an overflow. There is a tank-full prompt and auto shut-off. The 45 dB rating is quiet enough to ignore.

Is it sulit?

Across the 5-year warranty the listing advertises, that is roughly ₱28 a month. Even if you only get a couple of years, the cost of one moldy leather bag or a fogged camera lens is more than the machine.

Judged as a wardrobe dehumidifier, it is genuinely sulit and our pick of the budget units. Judged as a room dehumidifier, it is a waste of ₱1,700 no matter how cheap it looks, because it will not solve the problem you bought it for.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you want to keep an aparador, shoe cabinet, dry box or small bathroom free of damp and musty smells, and you understand you are buying a cabinet-scale appliance. It is the right choice for protecting clothes, bags, shoes and camera gear in a Filipino home, and it is the best-value unit in that band.

Skip it if the actual problem is a damp bedroom, mold on the walls, or laundry that will not dry. For that you need a compressor unit, and nothing in this price band will do.
