EYSIN SC20 steam spray cleaner review: cheap starter steamer

The EYSIN SC20 is the cheapest way here to get 100°C steam in your hand from an official brand store. It’s a kitchen-and-bathroom detail tool, and it’s honest about being nothing more than that.

How well does it clean?

Steam at the nozzle softens kitchen grease so it wipes off instead of needing scrubbing. The jobs it suits are the ones you put off: the film of oil on the tiles behind the kalan, the range hood filter, the greasy edge around the stovetop.

Bathrooms are the other half of its life. Steam gets into grout that a brush skims across, and it does it without bleach, which matters in a small room with no window.

What are the limits?

Two, and they’re worth being straight about.

First, the specs aren’t published. EYSIN doesn’t list wattage, tank size, or heat-up time for the SC20. We could guess from similar units, but guessing is how wrong numbers end up on the internet, so we won’t. Practically, it means you can’t know how long it runs before a refill until you own it.

Second, it’s a spray-only design. It loosens grime; wiping it up is your job. No suction, no collection tank.
