Lydsto PC03 review: a cordless robot for the pool floor

The Lydsto PC03 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner: drop it in, and it drives around the pool floor collecting leaves, sand, and grit, then parks itself at the wall when the battery runs down. Around ₱8,500 from Lydsto’s own store.

What does it actually clean?

The floor of the pool, and that is the honest scope. It collects settled debris into a filter basket as it drives. Walls, steps, and the waterline are not part of the job, so a brush stays in your maintenance routine.

That is still the part worth automating. Leaves and grit on the bottom are what clog a filter and eat chlorine, and skimming a floor by hand with a pole is slow, awkward work. Taking that off the list is most of the value.

The cordless design is the other half. Corded and hose-driven cleaners come with a float line that tangles and has to be walked around the pool. This one has neither, so setting it going is a matter of putting it in the water.

Self-parking is a small feature that matters more than it sounds. When the charge runs out, it drives to the side and stops against the wall, so you hook it out from the edge instead of reaching into the deep end for it.

What does Lydsto not tell you?

More than we would like, and it is the main mark against this listing.

There is no published runtime for the PC03, and no suction figure. Lydsto’s other cordless pool cleaners quote around 70 minutes, but that is a different model and we will not transfer a number across. If your pool is large, ask the seller for the runtime before ordering, because a cleaner that stops halfway is a real problem.

Practical upkeep: the filter basket needs rinsing after every run, and in a garden pool during rainy season that means often.

Is the Lydsto PC03 sulit?

Around ₱8,500 as of August 9, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. If it runs three years, an assumption rather than a published figure, that is about ₱54 a week, set against the pool service or the hours of pole work it replaces.

For anyone who currently cleans a pool floor by hand, the arithmetic is easy: one or two skipped service visits covers it. It is backed by Lydsto’s own Shopee store rather than a reseller, and 4.9 from 69 raters is a reasonable body of feedback for a product in this category.

Who the Lydsto PC03 suits

Buy this if you have a home pool with a flat floor, you are tired of working a pole around it, and you accept that walls and waterline stay a manual job. It is the right choice for regular upkeep between proper cleans.

Skip it if you needed wall and waterline cleaning, or if your pool is large enough that an unpublished runtime is a gamble you would rather not take.
