Asahi OT 101 10L oven toaster review: roomy toaster, trusted brand

The Asahi OT 101 is a 10L oven toaster at around ₱1,700 as of August 6, 2026. It is the largest in our ranking, and one specification separates it from the 9L models more than the extra litre does.

The 60-minute timer is the real upgrade

Most oven toasters at this size ship a 15-minute timer, which tells you what the manufacturer expects you to do with it: toast bread, reheat ulam, grill a few pieces of chicken.

The OT 101 gives you a 60-minute timer with a stay-on setting, and that changes the appliance’s job. Baked pasta, a small cake, roasted vegetables and slow-cooked chicken all need 30 to 45 minutes of unattended heat. On a 15-minute timer you are resetting it three times and hoping you do not forget; on this one you set it and walk away.

The stay-on position matters for anything that needs indefinite low heat, such as keeping food warm while the rest of dinner finishes.

700W across 10 litres is the trade

Be realistic about the physics. 700W heating a 10L chamber is a lower heat density than the same wattage in a 6L box, so it takes longer to come up to temperature and it recovers more slowly each time you open the door.

Practical consequences: preheat it properly rather than putting food straight in, and expect slightly longer cooking times than a recipe written for a full-size oven. Neither is a fault, and neither matters much once you know to expect it.

The two ceramic heaters distribute heat more evenly than a single element, which helps at this size.
