What problem does it actually solve?

Smell. Anyone who has reheated tuyo, bagoong, or fried fish in a microwave knows the problem: the next thing you put in comes out tasting faintly of it, and airing the cavity doesn’t fix it. The deodorization function runs a short cycle that clears the smell out, which sounds like a gimmick until you live in a household where several people microwave strong food.

The ceramic enamel interior is the related feature. It’s smooth and non-porous, so tomato sauce and oil splatters wipe off rather than staining. Budget microwaves use painted cavities that discolor over the years and end up looking grubby no matter how hard you scrub. This is a durability feature dressed up as a cleaning one.

800W output in a 23L cavity is a sensible pairing: slightly quicker than the 700W standard, and the extra three liters over a 20L unit takes a wider plate. The 288mm turntable helps there too.

Is it easy to live with?

The glass touch panel is flat, with no ridged knobs for grease to collect around, and it wipes clean in one pass. Quick defrost, auto cooking programs, eco mode, and a child lock are all included.

The Bespoke styling is the other draw: a flat white face designed to sit in an open kitchen without shouting. If your microwave is visible from the dining table, that’s worth something.

The limitation is control. Six power levels is fewer than the 10 on the Condura or the 11 on the Astron and Midea units, which is a thin spec at this price. Samsung’s design priorities here are clearly cleanliness and looks rather than fine-grained cooking control.
