Which fill should you buy?

There are three you will meet in the Philippines, and they behave very differently.

Puppies and older dogs need a liner inside the cushion

If you have a puppy or an older dog, yes, and it is worth understanding what the word covers.

Most beds waterproof the outer cover. That fails the moment liquid finds a seam or the side of the cushion, and once it reaches unlined fill it stays there. Smell follows, and the bed is finished.

The better construction runs a waterproof liner inside the bed, through the cushion, the bolsters, and the base. That is the difference between a bed that survives an accident and one replaced by it.

Pair it with a cover that unzips. Waterproofing without a removable cover means scrubbing the whole thing; a removable cover without a liner means the fill soaks regardless. You want both, and beds that have both say so plainly.
