Why buy a clipper with no published specs?

Because the alternative evidence is unusually strong. Kemei states little more than cordless USB charging for this model. There is no published runtime, blade material, or comb set we could verify, and we are not going to invent them.

What there is instead: 4,528 ratings holding 4.9, which is the largest owner base of any pet clipper in this category on Shopee PH, from Kemei’s own store. A 4.9 that survives that many buyers tells you the unit works reliably across thousands of different dogs and households. That is a different kind of evidence from a datasheet, and at ₱299 it is arguably the more useful kind.

Be clear about what it does not tell you: nothing about how long it runs, or how it behaves on a thick coat.

What does USB charging actually buy you?

More than it sounds like in a Philippine home. USB means a power bank or a laptop charges it. During a brownout, that is the difference between finishing the groom and abandoning it.

It is cordless, so there is no cable to manage around a dog that will not sit still, which is most dogs the first several times.

The gap against the KM-1991 is control. Fewer guide combs means fewer cut lengths, and there is no LED battery indicator, so a flat battery arrives without warning. On a small dog that is an inconvenience. On a big one it is a half-finished haircut.
