BLACK+DECKER BEPW1600-B1 pressure washer review: read the spec twice

The BLACK+DECKER BEPW1600-B1 delivers 110 bar with a turbo nozzle included, from a brand with real service channels here, for around ₱4,000 as of August 7, 2026. Before anything else, though, the listing needs correcting.

What is wrong with the listing?

The headline says 1600W. It is not a 1600W machine.

1600 is the PSI rating, which converts to about 110 bar. BLACK+DECKER’s own documentation for the BEPW1600 line lists it at 1600 PSI, and the Indian BEPW1600-IN variant of the same model is a 1300W machine. Somewhere between the factory and the Shopee listing, a pressure figure became a power figure.

This matters for two reasons. First, if you are comparing wattage across listings, you will rank this far above machines that actually out-perform it. Second, the real wattage for the B1 regional variant is not published anywhere we could verify, so you genuinely do not know what load it puts on your circuit.

Read it as a 110 bar washer and compare it against the Karcher K 2 Compact and the Lotus X2-110SE, which sit at the same pressure.

What does it get right?

The nozzle and the badge.

The turbo nozzle is included rather than sold as an add-on. It spins a narrow jet in a cone, concentrating pressure into a rotating point that lifts baked-on grime much faster than a fan spray. This publishes a pressure and a nozzle list. You are paying a brand premium for an incomplete spec sheet, and the sibling BLACK+DECKER PW1450TD-B1 documents itself far better for about the same price.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you specifically want the turbo nozzle and BLACK+DECKER’s service network, your jobs are vehicles rather than concrete, and the missing flow figure does not bother you. It’s a reasonable choice for a brand-first buyer.
