The Greenfield 1HP is our Best Budget Runner-Up: the second cheapest portable aircon we rank at around ₱13,600 as of August 11, 2026, from a known Philippine brand, sold through its official store.

What is the case for it?

Simplicity and the badge. It is a plain 1.0HP unit with a remote and castors, and nothing to configure beyond running the exhaust hose to a window. For a lot of buyers that is exactly right: an aircon’s job is to cool a room, and features are noise.

Greenfield is a familiar name in the Philippines with an official Shopee store and an authenticity guarantee, which counts on an appliance you cannot easily inspect before buying.

What is the problem?

The listing tells you almost nothing. No BTU rating, no room coverage, no wattage, and no warranty period. On a compressor appliance at this price, that is a lot to take on trust.
