ILIFE A30 review: the cheapest robot here with real laser mapping

The ILIFE A30 is the cheapest robot in this list that maps your home with a laser instead of guessing. Around ₱7,000 buys LDS laser navigation, a 3200mAh battery good for up to 180 minutes, and a 4.9 rating from 229 owners. You empty the bin yourself.

How well does it clean?

The Philippine listing states 5,000Pa, and that is the figure to plan around: fine on tile, vinyl, and hardwood, out of its depth on a thick rug. Since most homes here are mostly hard floor, that covers the actual job.

One caveat worth stating plainly, because it affects what you are buying. ILIFE quotes different suction figures for A30 variants in different markets. The company’s India site lists an A30 at 13,000Pa, and there is a separate vacuum-only A30s rated higher again. We have not been able to reconcile them, so we will not present any single number as the truth. Buy on the figure printed on the listing in front of you.

What is not in doubt is the navigation. LDS laser mapping puts it in a different class from the sub-₱7,000 robots it competes with, which mostly bump and turn. It cleans in parallel rows, tracks what it has finished, and plans a route rather than wandering. On a two-bedroom home that is the difference between a 40-minute clean and a two-hour one that misses the corner by the sofa.

Up to 180 minutes of runtime is generous, and if it does run low it returns to base and resumes.

What are the limits?

No dock beyond charging. The bin is emptied by hand every two or three cleans. At this price that is expected, but it is the daily-life difference between this and the A30 Pro.

Mopping is upkeep only. It damp-wipes as it goes, which keeps tile from feeling gritty. It will not shift anything dried on, and the pad needs rinsing after every run or it will smell in a week here.

5,000Pa and pet hair on rugs do not mix. If you have a shedding cat and an area rug, this is not the robot.

Is the ILIFE A30 sulit?

Around ₱7,000 as of August 9, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. If it runs three years, an assumption rather than a published figure, that is about ₱45 a week, the cheapest entry into a mapped robot in this list.

The value case is specific: you are paying for navigation, not power. Spend around ₱2,000 more on the ILIFE A30 Pro and you get the self-emptying dock. Spend less and you drop to unmapped robots, which is a real downgrade in how the thing behaves day to day. This sits at the point where a robot stops being a novelty.

Who the ILIFE A30 suits

Buy this if you are trying a robot vacuum for the first time, your floors are tile or vinyl, and you would rather have a machine that cleans methodically than one that claims a big number. It is the right choice for a condo or a small house where you do not mind emptying a bin.

Skip it if you have carpet, a heavy-shedding pet, or you specifically wanted to stop handling dust.
