What the arc features actually do

Hot start briefly raises current as you strike, so the arc lights first time instead of after four scrapes. Arc force adds current when the rod starts to stall in a deep joint, keeping the arc alive rather than letting it die. Anti-stick drops current if the rod welds itself to the work, so you can pull it free without ruining the electrode.
