KEELAT KCD003 cordless drill set review: a lot of kit, not a lot of data

The KEELAT KCD003 is a complete drill kit for around ₱1,200: a 20V max drill with three modes, two batteries, a charger, drill and driver bits, sockets, a flexible shaft, and a case. Almost nothing else at this price includes that much. What it doesn’t include is a published torque figure.

What do you actually get?

A 20V max drill rated at 3,000 rpm with a claimed 60mm max cutting capacity, and three modes: drill, screwdriver, and hammer. 3,000 rpm is quick, which helps produce clean holes in wood, and the hammer setting means light wall work is at least on the table.

The accessories are the real story. Twist bits, masonry bits, driver bits, a socket set, and a flexible shaft that reaches screws in corners the drill body can’t. Buy a bare drill and a bit set separately and you’d spend more.

What’s missing from the spec sheet?

The two numbers that matter most. There’s no torque figure, so you cannot tell whether it will drive a 100mm screw into hardwood or stall halfway. And there’s no chuck size, which caps how big a masonry bit you can fit, making the hammer mode’s usefulness impossible to judge from the listing.

It’s also not labelled brushless, unlike KEELAT’s KCD011 and KCD012. A brushed motor is normal at this price, but it runs hotter and its carbon brushes wear, so heavy use shortens its life.
