How is this feature list at this price?

That is the right question, and the honest answer is that TCL has cut in one specific place: drivers. This is a 2.1ch bar with no up-firing speakers and no side channels. Everything else on the spec sheet, the eARC port, the Atmos decoding, the wireless sub, the room calibration, is what you would expect on a bar costing three times as much.

That is a smart set of choices. The features TCL kept are the ones that work regardless of your room; the ones it dropped are the ones that need a flat ceiling and hard walls to do anything.

Is the Atmos support meaningful?

Partly, and it is worth being precise. The S55H decodes Dolby Atmos properly, which means the soundtrack arrives intact and is rendered rather than downmixed.
