That last one deserves attention because almost nothing else at this price mentions it. If your internet drops, or you want the camera somewhere with no Wi-Fi, the camera makes its own network and your phone joins it. For a stockroom at the back of a lot, or during a Philippine brownout that takes the router with it, that is a real feature.

And it screws into an E27 socket, so installation is thirty seconds and no drilling.

What is the honest catch?

V380 does not publish a sensor resolution for this model. Not in the listing, not on a spec page, nowhere.

That is a genuine problem, and it is why this sits at rank three rather than higher. Everything else here is a feature you can see working. Resolution is the one thing you cannot judge until the footage is in front of you, and it is the thing that decides whether the camera is useful as a record.
