What an immunity claim needs before it means anything

Two things: which ingredient is meant to do the work, and how much of it is in a serving.

This listing gives neither, along with no guaranteed analysis and no dosing by body weight. At the premium end of this shelf, that is the gap that matters, because the cheaper chews on the same page publish exactly as little.

And the claim itself deserves a plain answer. The immune system is not something you turn up. A dog eating a complete and balanced food is already getting the vitamins involved in immune function at the levels the food was formulated to supply, and adding more does not raise a ceiling.
