PowerCells 100 capsules review: longest supply, vaguest label

PowerCells’ 100-capsule bottle is the longest supply in this list, sold through The Generics Pharmacy, with a large base of owner ratings behind it.

What’s good about it

The source. TGP is a nationwide Philippine drugstore chain, and buying from its official store removes most of the counterfeit and unregistered-product risk that makes this category difficult. We found no FDA advisory against the product.

The rating base is substantial too, with well over a thousand ratings and more than ten thousand sold. That tells you people buy it repeatedly and are satisfied with the transaction.

100 capsules is genuinely convenient if this is something you already take. Reordering every two weeks is a real friction, and a big bottle removes it.

The problem with the label

The listing gives you 500 mg and stops there. It does not name the herbal actives.

For a product you’d take daily, in a 100-capsule commitment, that’s a significant gap. You can’t compare it to anything, you can’t check for interactions with medication you take, and you can’t tell your doctor what you’re taking if they ask. “500 mg of something herbal” is not enough information.

It’s also a food supplement, so it carries no approved therapeutic claim and is not a treatment for any condition.

Compare that with the same brand’s 20-capsule pack, which works out dearer per capsule but costs far less to try.

Buy this if you already take PowerCells, know it suits you, and want to stop reordering. It’s the right choice as a refill. As a first purchase it’s the wrong size, and the unnamed formula makes it hard to recommend to anyone choosing on label transparency.
