Deerma X80 review: the one that climbs your bathroom step

The Deerma X80 solves a problem the rest of this list ignores. It climbs 60mm obstacles, roughly triple the usual 20mm, so raised bathroom steps and door strips stop being walls. It also brings 15,000Pa and bionic dual arms that reach the skirting. Around ₱28,100.

How well does it clean?

15,000Pa is a strong figure, level with the Xiaomi S40 Pro, and enough for rugs as well as tile. Navigation is LDS laser with route planning, so it maps and cleans in rows, and it is rated for up to 200m², which covers a large Philippine house in one map.

The bionic dual arms swing the mop pad and side brush outward as it passes a wall, closing the gap robots normally leave along skirting boards. A vibrating mop pad with wet and dry modes does the floor cleaning, and a self-cleaning base handles the dust.

But the reason to consider this one specifically is the 60mm obstacle climbing. In a country where a step up into the bathroom or a hardwood threshold between rooms is standard, most robots simply stop. Clearing 60mm is the difference between a robot that cleans your floor and one that cleans the rooms it can reach.

What are the limits?

The price is hard to defend on specs alone. The Xiaomi S40 Pro matches the 15,000Pa suction and has its own extending arms for around ₱12,900 less. Unless the thresholds in your home are genuinely stopping other robots, you are paying a lot for climbing ability.

Deerma publishes less than its rivals. Battery capacity and runtime are not stated on the Philippine listing, where Xiaomi and Dreame publish both. We have marked those as not specified rather than invent them, but at this price the gap is a fair complaint.

The rating is thin. 5.0 from 12 raters is encouraging, not conclusive.

Is the Deerma X80 sulit?

Around ₱28,100 as of August 9, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. If it runs three years, an assumption rather than a published figure, that is about ₱180 a week.

The value case is narrow and specific. Judged on cleaning per peso, this loses badly to the S40 Pro. Judged on whether the robot can actually reach every room in a house with raised thresholds, it may be the only one in this list that does. Work out which of those describes your home before you decide.

Who the Deerma X80 suits

Buy this if your home has real steps between rooms, a raised bathroom lip, or thick door thresholds, and you have already given up on robots getting past them. It is the right choice when access, not suction, is what has been failing you.

Skip it if your floors are flat and continuous. Then the S40 Pro gives you the same cleaning for about half the money.
