Lefant M3 Max review: the dock that washes and dries the mop

The Lefant M3 Max is where a robot vacuum stops asking anything of you. It empties itself for up to 90 days, then washes the mop pads in 45°C water and dries them with cool air, all while pulling 20,000Pa. Around ₱18,900.

How well does it clean?

20,000Pa is the strongest suction here outside the ₱30,000 Xiaomi, and it is the figure that matters if your home has rugs, a carpeted bedroom, or a shedding pet. Carpet pile grips dirt, and this is enough fan to pull it back out. On bare tile you would honestly struggle to tell it apart from the 15,000Pa Xiaomi S40 Pro.

Navigation is 360° LiDAR with multi-level mapping, so it maps in the dark, cleans in rows, and remembers separate floor plans. If you carry it upstairs it recognises the floor instead of starting over, which is the practical benefit of multi-level maps in a two-storey house.

Runtime is up to 220 minutes from a 5200mAh battery, the longest in this list, and enough to cover a large home in one pass with a margin.

What does the dock do?

Everything the cheap docks do not.

It auto-empties into a 3.2L bag rated for up to 90 days, so the dust job becomes a few times a year. Then it does the part that actually matters in this climate: it rinses the mop pads in 45°C water and dries them with cool air. A wet pad parked in a dock in Philippine humidity goes sour within days, and that smell is the reason most robot mops end up used as vacuums only. This one solves it.

Lefant uses cool air deliberately, to avoid heat hardening the pads over time. The trade is a slower drying cycle than the hot-air docks on the Dreame D20 Ultra and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5.

Is the Lefant M3 Max sulit?

The comparison that decides it: the Xiaomi S40 Pro cleans nearly as well for around ₱3,700 less, and you handle the dust and the pads yourself. The extra money here buys labour, not cleaning. Against the ₱30,000 Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5, this gives up hot-water washing and the retracting radar but runs 80 minutes longer per charge for ₱11,000 less, which is the better value of the two hands-off options.

One honest note on the rating: 4.9 from 49 raters is a good score from a modest sample, so it carries less weight than the ILIFE listings with hundreds of ratings behind them.

Who the Lefant M3 Max suits

Buy this if you mop often, you have rugs or a pet, and the reason you want a robot is to stop doing the chore rather than to do it faster. It is the right choice when your budget stretches past the mid-range and you would rather spend it on the dock than on radar.

Skip it if your floors are bare tile and you rarely mop. You would be paying about ₱3,700 for a dock you do not need.
