KEELAT KID001S impact wrench review: the cheapest brushless one

The KEELAT KID001S is our Best Budget impact wrench: brushless, a claimed 380Nm, with two batteries and ten impact sockets for around ₱1,700. It’s the cheapest wrench here that still gives you a real motor type and a stated torque number.

What do you get at this price?

A 1/2in square drive wrench with a brushless motor, two battery packs, a charger, ten impact sockets, a drill chuck, hex adapters, and a case. Compare that with the Greenfield at around ₱4,500, which ships one battery and no sockets at all, and the value case makes itself.

The brushless motor is the part worth noting. An impact wrench works in violent short bursts, which is exactly the duty cycle that cooks carbon brushes. At this price, most tools are brushed.

How seriously should you take 380Nm?

As an indication. KEELAT publishes no rpm range, no impact rate, and no test standard, so there’s nothing to check the figure against. Our impact wrench buying guide explains why a lone torque number is the weakest kind of spec.

The saving grace is the size of the margin. Car lug nuts torque to 100-140Nm and might need double that when seized. Even if the real output is half of what’s claimed, the job still gets done. Where you shouldn’t rely on it is seized suspension bolts, truck wheels, or anything you’d normally reach for a breaker bar to start.

What’s the compromise against its siblings?

Accessories, and that’s about it. The KID003S at around ₱2,000 adds a 1/4in hex driver fitting, a keyed drill chuck, and a drill bit set, and claims 420Nm. The KID004 at the same price adds bigger 4,000mAh packs and a 19-piece kit.

So the KID001S is the trimmed version of a good idea. If the extras don’t interest you, you’re not giving up the tool itself, only the case around it.

The usual KEELAT caveat applies: no Philippine service center, and seller-stated warranty terms rather than manufacturer ones.

Is it sulit?

Around ₱1,700 as of July 31, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. On price per capability, this is the strongest entry point into the category. Nothing cheaper gives you a brushless motor with a stated torque figure and a socket set.

The one below it, the KEELAT KID005 at around ₱899, publishes no torque figure at all and leads with a “288VF” badge that isn’t a real unit. That gap of roughly ₱800 buys you a motor type, a number, and two more sockets. It’s worth paying.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you want an impact wrench mainly for tire changes and occasional bolts, and you’d rather not spend more than necessary.
