Why does it win this category?

Because it claims the widest reach here, and it has the height to make that plausible.

50 sqm is the largest coverage figure any fan in our ranking publishes. At 42 inches tall, it pushes air across a wide vertical band, which is what lets a fan reach someone standing at the far end of a sala rather than just the person sitting in front of it.

The temperature automation is the genuinely uncommon feature. The fan reads the room and adjusts its own speed, ramping up as the room warms and easing back as it cools overnight. On a fan that runs all night, that is the difference between waking up cold at 3am and sleeping through. Almost nothing else here offers it at any price.

12 speed settings give the fine control a three-speed fan cannot.

What is missing?

The numbers behind the claim, and it is a real gap at this price.

Levoit publishes no wattage and no airflow figure. That leaves the 50 sqm coverage claim unverifiable: coverage is a marketing output, airflow is the input, and without the input you cannot check the output.

There is also no published oscillation angle, where the Asahi states 90 degrees and the Xiaomi states 150. On a fan sold specifically on room coverage, the sweep is exactly what you would want to know.

This is disappointing from a brand that publishes AHAM-verified CADR figures on its air purifiers. Levoit knows how to document a product; it simply has not done it here.

If it lasts five years, a reasonable expectation for a Levoit appliance, that is roughly ₱182 a month. Stating that plainly: it is our expectation, not a published warranty term.

The comparison is uncomfortable. The Xiaomi Smart Tower Fan 2 costs around ₱6,400 less, publishes 24W, has an independently measured 494 m³/h, and sweeps 150 degrees. On everything you can actually verify, the far cheaper fan wins.

What the Levoit offers back is height, temperature automation and 12 discrete speeds. If automatic overnight operation in a big room is what you want, this is the machine that does it, and there is no cheaper way to get that feature here. That is a narrow but genuine argument.

Who the Levoit tower fan suits

Buy this if you need a fan for a genuinely large room and you want it to manage its own speed overnight rather than blasting at one setting until morning. It is the right choice for a big sala or a large master bedroom where a set-and-forget fan is the goal.

Skip it if you want verified performance per peso, where the Xiaomi is clearly ahead, or if you are cooling a normal-sized bedroom, where this is more fan than you need.
