Why does it win value?

Because it removes the same amount of water as units costing noticeably more.

12L/day is the number that matters, and it puts this machine in the same class as the Carrier 12L at around ₱1,800 less. Everything below this tier on Shopee PH is a peltier unit pulling a tenth as much water, so the ₱7,700 mark is effectively the floor for a dehumidifier that can dry a room. This is the cheapest way through that door.

The owner feedback backs it up: 4.9 from nearly 500 raters with 1K+ sold, which is more raters than either Carrier listing has.

How well does it work?

It is a compressor unit, so it works the way a fridge works, and it keeps working in an air-conditioned room. That last point separates it from every peltier unit here, which need roughly 25°C or warmer to condense properly. Since Filipino households usually notice damp because of aircon condensation, that is a meaningful difference.

Two things, and they are worth knowing before you buy.

Simplus publishes the extraction rate but no coverage area and no wattage. You cannot check on paper whether it suits your room or what it will add to the bill. Based on 12L/day, expect roughly 30 sqm and a draw in the 200W to 250W range, but those are our estimates, not manufacturer figures.

The other is service. Simplus is a newer brand in the Philippines, so if the compressor fails in year three there is no nationwide service center to walk into. The first-year cover is generous (free replacement rather than repair), but after that you are relying on a Shopee seller.

Is it sulit?

Across its 1-year warranty, that is about ₱21 a day for the period you are fully covered. Realistically a compressor unit should last well beyond that, and if it manages five years the figure drops to roughly ₱128 a month, cheaper than most streaming bundles for a machine that keeps mold off your walls.

The comparison that actually decides it: you are paying about ₱1,800 less than the Carrier and getting castors thrown in. What you give up is the service network. That is a fair trade for a lot of households, and a bad one if you hate dealing with sellers.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you want a real 12L/day dehumidifier at the lowest price, and you want to wheel it between rooms rather than leave it in one place. It is the right choice for a household drying out a bedroom now and the sala next month, and for anyone who would rather spend the savings on the drain hose and a dry box.

Skip it if long-term serviceability is what lets you sleep, in which case pay the premium for Carrier or Condura.
