The Xiaomi electric precision screwdriver is our Best for Electronics pick: 24 S2 steel bits and an all-metal gearbox for around ₱1,800. It’s the right tool for a phone, and the wrong one for a bookshelf.

What can you open with it?

The bit set is the reason to buy it. Twenty-four S2 steel bits at 60HRC hardness, covering Phillips, pentalobe, hex, Torx including pin-hole security Torx, tri-wing, Y-type, W-type and slotted heads.

That range matters because electronics manufacturers use awkward screws deliberately. A pentalobe on an iPhone, a tri-wing in a game controller, a security Torx in a laptop base: a normal driver set opens none of them. This one does.

How much force does it have?

Here’s the number people misread, so let’s be precise. The 3Nm figure is maximum manual torque, what you can apply turning the tool by hand as a normal screwdriver. Powered torque is far lower by design.

That’s not a flaw, it’s the point. Precision work needs control, not force. Driving a screw hard into a phone chassis strips the thread or cracks a board. Its 170rpm no-load speed is the slowest here for the same reason.

If your jobs are furniture and cabinet hinges, this is the wrong tool and you want a general screwdriver with 4-6Nm instead.

Is it well made?

Better than the price suggests. An all-metal gearbox and a magnetic motor, where most tools this size use plastic gearing. A 350mAh cell rated for 400-plus screws per charge, over USB-C in 160 to 200 minutes. The aluminium alloy case keeps 24 tiny bits from scattering through a drawer, which sounds trivial until you lose the pentalobe.

One reservation worth stating plainly: we could not verify that either Philippine listing is an authorised Xiaomi store, despite the shop names. Buy it on the tool, not on an assumed warranty channel.

Is it sulit?

Around ₱1,800 as of July 31, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. It’s the most expensive pick in this category, and it’s only sulit if you actually work on electronics.

For that use, it genuinely is: a comparable S2 precision bit set alone costs a good fraction of this, and you’d still be turning it by hand. For furniture, you’d be paying double the INGCO for a tool with less driving power.
