At around โ‚ฑ369 as of August 19, 2026. Two numbers make this the most useful scale on this page, and thirteen of the seventeen scales here publish neither.

Graduation is the spec, and almost nobody states it

Graduation is the smallest step the display moves in. A 1g scale reads 4g, then 5g, and nothing between. A 0.1g scale reads 4.3g.

That single number decides what a scale can do. Flour and sugar are fine in whole grams. Yeast, baking soda, salt and espresso are not: 7g of yeast on a 1g scale is a rounding, and on a scale with a high minimum it may not register at all.

Of the seventeen kitchen scales we list, four publish a graduation. This is one, and its 0.1g figure is the fine end.

Capacity and resolution usually fight each other

The other reason this pairing is worth noticing.

Scales fine enough to read tenths of a gram usually top out at 2kg or 3kg, because the load cell is built for small loads. Scales that handle 10kg or more usually read in whole grams or worse: the Powerhouse 30kg bench scale reads in 5g steps.

A 10kg capacity with 0.1g steps claims both ends. That means one scale for a tray of lechon belly and for 7g of yeast, which is unusual and is the whole argument for this one over the cheaper options.

The minimum weight nobody prints

Every digital scale has a lower limit as well as an upper one. Below it the display stays at zero or jumps unpredictably, because the load cell cannot resolve that small a change.

That is why weighing 3g of anything on a coarse scale fails. Finer graduation generally means a lower floor, which is the practical benefit of the 0.1g figure here.

If the exact minimum matters to you, ask the shop. Nobody in this category publishes it.

Tare is the feature that makes it usable

Put the empty bowl on, press tare, and the display returns to zero. Add flour, tare again, add sugar on top.

That one button is why a digital scale replaces a whole drawer of measuring cups. It also removes the biggest source of error in cup baking: a cup of flour ranges roughly 120g to 150g depending on whether you scooped or spooned, and a scale removes the question entirely.

Who should buy the Deli Vusign

Buy this if you bake, you want one scale that covers both big and small amounts, and you would rather buy a listing that tells you what it does.

Skip it if you only ever weigh in whole grams and want to spend a third as much.

Cheaper and more specialised scales

For the most bought scale on this page at half the price, see the OOKAS food scale with tray. For coffee specifically, with a timer built in, the Lahome 3kg coffee scale publishes 0.1g steps too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is graduation on a kitchen scale?

The smallest step the display moves in. A 1g scale reads in whole grams; a 0.1g scale reads to a tenth. It decides what the scale can usefully weigh, and most listings never state it.

Why does 10kg with 0.1g steps matter?

Because capacity and resolution usually trade off. Most scales fine enough for yeast top out low, and most that handle a turkey read in whole grams. This one claims both.

Is there a minimum weight?

Every digital scale has one, below which it reads zero or jumps. Finer steps generally mean a lower floor, which is why 0.1g scales handle small amounts that 1g scales cannot.
