Imarflex IAF-761DH turbo air fryer review

At around ₱5,198 as of August 6, 2026: 6L, 1700W, twelve presets, and twin heaters. That last item is the reason to read this one rather than a cheaper fryer.

Twin heaters address the real complaint

Almost every air fryer heats with a single element above the basket, with a fan behind it pushing air down and around. That works, and it browns the top of the food first, which is why every manual tells you to shake the basket halfway.

A second heating element evens the heat distribution out. The practical results are less shaking, less difference between the piece at the edge and the piece in the middle, and better browning on the underside of things you cannot easily turn.

It is a genuine design difference rather than a marketing word, and it is the only one in this category that changes the cooking rather than the interface.

Six litres is the size most households need

Basket capacity really means floor area, because air frying needs air around each piece and a stacked basket steams. At 6L the floor takes a single layer for three or four people, which is where cooking stops happening in shifts.

Bigger buys more floor and costs counter space and heat-up time. Smaller puts you back into batches.

What 1700W costs

At Meralco rates around ₱12 to ₱13 a kilowatt-hour, twenty minutes is about 0.57 kWh, or roughly ₱7.

The comparison that matters is a full-size oven, which draws more and takes far longer to reach temperature. Cooking a tray of chicken in an air fryer costs a fraction of doing it in an oven, and that is the honest reason to own one.

Buying a brand you can get serviced

Imarflex is a Philippine household name with service centres, and on an appliance that matters more than it does on a shampoo.

Air fryers fail in predictable places: the heating element, the fan motor, the control board and the basket coating. A brand with parts and a repair network can fix the first three. An unbranded fryer with a dead element is rubbish, whatever it cost.

Spread across a few years of use, the price gap against a generic 6L fryer is smaller than it looks, and it buys a machine that can be repaired.

The habits that matter more than the presets

Preheat three to five minutes. Food dropped into a cold chamber gives up moisture before the surface can brown, which is why a first batch disappoints.

Single layer, spaced. Two properly spaced batches beat one crowded batch, and the second batch is quick because the chamber is already hot.

Twelve presets are stored time-and-temperature pairs. Useful for a week, then you use the manual settings.

Who the IAF-761DH suits

Buy this if you want the most even cooking available in this category, you cook for a family, and you want an appliance a technician here can open.

Skip it if the price is the constraint, where 6L baskets on this page cost a third as much.
