Why does it win this category?

Because it is the largest capacity that still fits a realistic Filipino kitchen.

Full-size freestanding dishwashers need a 60cm gap. The MAX-D002MS needs 45cm. That 15 centimeters is frequently the difference between a machine you can install and one you cannot, and it buys you 9 place settings, enough to clear a family dinner for four or five in a single load.

How well does it wash?

Skip it if you rent, cannot plumb it in, or are cooking for one or two, where a countertop machine costs less and takes no floor at all.
