Midea 24L digital microwave review: 8 presets and a long warranty

The Midea 24L Digital sits in the useful middle: a 24L cavity, 800W output, eight preset cooking functions, and a warranty package that’s longer than most here.

How well does it reheat?

800W output is a genuine step up from the 700W that most 20L units run, and paired with a 24L cavity it makes a practical everyday machine. Four more liters than the standard means a wider plate and a bigger bowl fit, without the counter-depth headaches that come with a 30L unit.

Eight preset cooking functions cover the routine jobs with one press, and defrost by weight and by time lets you enter how heavy a frozen item is and have the oven work out the rest. The timer runs to 95 minutes, well past the 30 and 35-minute caps on the dial models, and a child lock is included.

Then there’s the spec that doesn’t fit: five power levels. On a digital panel, that’s thin. Midea’s own 20L digital model offers eleven for less money. If you want fine control between full power and low, this isn’t where to find it.

Is it easy to live with?

The mirror glass door looks smart and shows every fingerprint, which is the standard trade with that finish. The LED display and membrane panel are conventional and easy enough to work through.

The warranty is where this one quietly stands out. Midea Philippines lists 1 year of full replacement plus 2 years of parts and service. The replacement year matters more than it sounds: a faulty unit gets swapped rather than sent for repair, so you’re not waiting on a service center for a part.

Is the Midea 24L Digital sulit?

Around ₱5,800 as of August 26, 2026. Check the latest price on Shopee. Across the 3-year total warranty cover that’s about ₱5.30 a day, and over five years of use it drops to roughly ₱3.20.

The value question comes down to what you weigh. Against the Condura digital, you get 4 more liters and 100 more watts, but half the power levels and a smaller PH service network. Against the Astron, you’re paying more for less control and a slightly smaller cavity, with a stronger warranty in return. It’s a reasonable buy rather than a standout one, and the 4.8 rating from 332 raters says owners are satisfied.

Who the Midea 24L Digital suits

Buy this if you want a mid-size digital microwave with presets and the longest warranty cover in this price band, and you rarely change power levels anyway. It’s the right choice for a household of two to four who mostly use presets and defrost. If you actually adjust power levels regularly, the 5-level limit will annoy you.
