- Main catch: Listing publishes no weight rating or fit range, ask before buying

Pros and cons
✓ Pros
- Sold through Chris Sports, an established Philippine sporting goods retailer
- Simple express fit, no assembly beyond slotting it up
✗ Cons
- Listing publishes no weight rating or fit range, ask before buying
- No dip, push-up or sit-up function, it only does hanging work
The Fitness & Athletics Express pull-up bar stands out here for who sells it rather than what it publishes: Chris Sports, at around ₱1,300 as of August 19, 2026.
What does buying through a local retailer get you?
A door to knock on. Chris Sports is a long-established Philippine sporting goods retailer, and Fitness & Athletics is the house brand it carries. If something arrives bent, or a fixing is missing, you are dealing with a real retail operation rather than chasing a marketplace seller who may not answer.
For a product that holds your bodyweight, that route matters more than it would for a phone case.
Ask Chris Sports for the load rating and door width first
The two things you most want. There is no published load rating and no stated doorway fit range, which are precisely the specifications that decide whether a door bar is right for you. Compared with the bars here that publish 150 kg or 100 to 120 kg, that is a real gap.
The fix is easy but necessary: message Chris Sports and get both figures before ordering.
Slots into the frame with no assembly, for hanging only
Simple. The express fit design slots into the frame with essentially no assembly, which is the practical appeal. It goes up quickly and comes down quickly.
It does hanging work only, with no push-up, dip or sit-up function.
Local retail backing at a mid-range price
At around ₱1,300 as of August 19, 2026, it sits mid-pack: more than the budget door bars, less than our Best Overall. You are paying for local retail backing rather than for published specifications or extra features, which is a genuine but narrow benefit.
Shoppers who trust an established Philippine retailer
Buy this if dealing with an established Philippine retailer is worth more to you than a spec sheet. Skip it if you want documented numbers before trusting a bar with your weight.
Published specs from another established retailer, Decathlon
If published specifications are what you are after, the Decathlon BT 150 states 100 kg unscrewed and 120 kg screwed and also comes from an established retailer. For a higher stated capacity with no drilling, the OneTwoFit OT216 publishes 150 kg.

Frequently asked questions
Who are Fitness & Athletics?
It is the house fitness brand carried by Chris Sports, a long-running Philippine sporting goods retailer. That means a real shop stands behind it, which is a different proposition from an anonymous marketplace listing.
What weight will it hold?
The listing does not say, and neither does it publish a doorway fit range. Those are the two specifications that matter most on a door bar, so ask Chris Sports directly before ordering.
Does it need assembly?
Very little. It is an express-fit design, so it slots into the door frame rather than being built. That simplicity is the main practical appeal.
Can I do dips or push-ups on it?
No. This is a hanging bar only. If you want push-ups and a sit-up anchor from the same purchase, a multi-mode door bar covers all three.
