Why does it earn a place?

Because the motor type is the spec that decides your running cost, and this is the cheapest way into the better one.

A DC inverter motor draws roughly half what a comparable AC motor uses. The inverter fans in our ranking that publish figures come in at 24W to 28W; standard AC tower fans typically sit around 45W to 60W.

For a household running a fan every night of the hot season, that gap is a few hundred pesos a year, every year. At around ₱4,900, this is the least you can pay to get on the right side of it.

The digital display is a genuine small win too. It shows the current setting rather than leaving you counting indicator lights in a dark bedroom, and combined with the remote you can read it from across the room.

What is missing?

The proof, and it is the same gap that affects most of the budget end of this category.

3D publishes no wattage, which means the inverter efficiency claim cannot be checked. It also publishes no airflow figure and no oscillation angle, so you cannot size the fan to your room or tell how many people it will reach.

That is frustrating specifically because the inverter motor is the reason to buy this fan. The one claim that justifies the price over the cheaper 3D Summit TF10SM is precisely the claim with no number attached.

The evidence base is also thin: 26 ratings, against 119 for the Summit and nearly 700 for the Asahi.

Is this tower fan sulit?

If it lasts five years, that is roughly ₱82 a month, stated as an expectation rather than a warranty term.

The comparison that matters is against its own stablemate. ₱600 more than the 3D Summit buys you the DC motor, and on a fan run nightly that difference typically pays back within a season or two through lower electricity, then keeps paying. If the fan will run every night, this is the better buy of the two.

The harder comparison is the Xiaomi Smart Tower Fan 2 at around ₱400 less, which is also a DC inverter and publishes 24W, 494 m³/h measured, 150-degree oscillation and 28.7 dB. Cheaper, better documented, wider sweep. The 3D’s answer is that it ships with a physical remote and the Xiaomi mostly does not.

Who this tower fan suits

Buy this if you want a DC inverter fan with a physical remote for the least money, and you accept buying the efficiency claim on the motor type rather than on a published figure. It suits a household that runs a fan nightly and wants the lower running cost without app control.

Skip it if you are comfortable using a phone as the remote, where the Xiaomi is cheaper and far better documented, or if the fan gets used only occasionally, where the AC-motor Summit saves you ₱600 upfront.
