Dreame V10S review: the stick vacuum most homes should buy

The Dreame V10S is our Best Overall cordless vacuum on Shopee Philippines: 155AW and 20kPa of suction, up to 60 minutes of runtime, green laser dust detection, and a 2-year warranty, at around ₱9,000.

How well does it actually clean?

155 airwatts is the number that matters, and it sits in the capable middle of the market. Airwatts combine suction pressure with airflow, which is what lifts dirt off a floor and carries it up the tube, so it is a more honest figure than pascals alone.

Placed against Dreame’s own range: the R10 is 120AW, the V20 is 160AW, the V16 Pro reaches 27,000Pa, and the flagship V50 Pro is 220AW. So this is not the most powerful stick Dreame sells, and it is not close to it.

What it is, is enough. At 155AW and 20kPa it handles tile, wood, and area rugs in a normal home. The step up to a flagship buys speed and margin on deep carpet, not a fundamentally cleaner floor, and it costs nearly three times as much.

Up to 60 minutes of runtime is the advertised eco-mode figure, as it is on every vacuum in this category. Read it as a full-house clean on standard power, with a lot less on max.

What is it like to use?

Two things stand out day to day.

The green laser dust detection throws a low light across the floor ahead of the head, which makes fine dust and hair visible that you would simply walk past under normal room lighting. On tile and wood, which is most Philippine flooring, this changes how thoroughly you clean, mostly by showing you that you had not. On carpet it does nothing, since the dirt sits below the surface.

The carbon fiber wand matters more than it sounds. Most of the effort in stick vacuuming is holding the thing up, especially on ceilings, cornices, and above cabinets. A lighter wand is what makes that bearable.

Four attachments come in the box, and the dust cup empties with one press, so you are not putting a hand near the dirt.

The gap in the spec sheet: Dreame publishes no weight figure for the V10S, which is an odd omission on a vacuum whose selling point is a light wand.

Is the Dreame V10S sulit?

Spread across the stated 2-year Dreame warranty, that works out at about ₱12 a day, and unlike most sticks there is a manufacturer committed to that period. Two years is double the 1-year cover on the BLACK+DECKER and Midea units, and warranty length is a real proxy for how long a brand expects its battery to last.

The comparison to make is upward, not downward. The V16 Pro adds 27,000Pa and 25 more minutes for around ₱9,000 more; the V50 Pro adds 220AW and 90 minutes for around ₱15,700 more. Neither will make your floor cleaner than this one does in a typical home. They will make it faster.

Who the Dreame V10S suits

Buy this if you want one vacuum to handle a whole Filipino home and would rather spend the difference on nothing at all. It is the right choice for a house with tile or wood floors, some rugs, and a normal amount of dust, and the 2-year warranty makes it the safer long-term buy in its band. If you have deep carpet or heavy pet shedding, step up to the V16 Pro.

If the Dreame V10S is not right

If you want the longest runtime instead of the dust light, the Lotus X30 PRO runs 70 minutes with 25kPa and an H13 HEPA filter at around ₱9,600. If ₱9,000 is more than you want to spend, the Deerma VC20 Plus costs around ₱3,600 with 4,275 owner ratings, though at 5,500Pa it is a much lighter clean.
