What makes it a permanent panel?

Weight and frame. 21.8kg, 1,722 x 1,134 x 35mm, with an anti-corrosive aluminum frame and no kickstand or carry case. This is a panel you bolt down once.

What you get in exchange is durability built for the outdoors in a way a folding panel is not. IP68, a frame designed to resist corrosion in salt air, and a 130 mph wind rating. In a country that takes twenty typhoons a year, that last number is the reason this panel exists.

What is the install actually like?

If there is any chance you will want to move it, the comparison goes the other way and it is not close.

Sold through EcoFlow’s own Philippine Shopee store, which matters for a product this size, because a warranty claim on a 21.8kg panel is not something you want routed through a reseller.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you are mounting solar on a roof or a ground frame and leaving it there for years. It is the right choice for a house, a farm shed, or a small off-grid setup in a storm-prone area.
