What is the case for it?

The dehumidifier. A cooling-only aircon works for part of the year and sits idle for the rest, while damp in a Philippine home is a year-round complaint. A 3-in-1 unit stays useful through the rainy season, which is a genuine argument for spending more on the same cooling capacity.
