What does it get right?

Quiet operation and the thing no spec sheet captures: someone to call.

35 dB at the lowest setting is among the quietest published figures in this ranking, beaten only by the Simplus AirCare 2 Lite’s 25 dB. For a purifier meant to run overnight, that is the number most people actually care about.

Haier is one of the largest appliance makers in the world, with a real Philippine presence, an official Shopee store, and a service network standing behind the 1-year warranty. On an appliance you intend to keep for years, that matters in a way spec sheets do not capture. It is a genuine advantage over the Shopee-only budget brands, whose support ends at a chat window.

That would be a respectable figure, comparable to the Xiaomi 4 Compact. But we are reading a naming convention, not a published spec, and we will not present it as fact.

The 99%+ odor elimination claim similarly names no test standard. The underlying mechanism, an activated carbon layer, genuinely works. The specific number is marketing.

Is it sulit?

The value question is sharp. The Xiaomi 4 Compact costs around ₱2,500 less, publishes a verified 230 m³/h, and has app control too. The Levoit Core 300 costs ₱500 less with H13 True HEPA and 2 years of warranty.

Against those, you are paying a premium for quiet running and Haier’s service network while accepting less published information. That is a real trade for some buyers and a poor one for others.

Who should buy it

Buy this if after-sales support from a major appliance brand is what you value, and a 35 dB bedroom unit with app control fits what you need. It is the right choice for a buyer who has had a bad experience with a Shopee-only brand and wants a name with a service center behind it.
