Why does it win?

Because it is the rare case where the popular choice is also the correct one.

It publishes a real CADR of 230 m³/h, and that number is independently reported rather than being a seller’s claim. In a category where the cheapest units publish nothing at all and the mid-range often quotes coverage without output, a verifiable figure is the thing worth paying for.

And the evidence behind it is overwhelming: 4.9 from more than 6,500 owners, with 10K+ sold. That is more owner feedback than any other purifier in our ranking, by a wide margin. On an appliance where the risk is buying a fan in a fancy box, that many consistent ratings is meaningful.

If it lasts three years, which is a fair expectation for a Xiaomi appliance in normal use, that is roughly ₱117 a month before filters. Add a filter replacement roughly once a year and budget accordingly, because that annual filter is the real cost of owning any purifier, not the machine.

Against the alternatives, it is strong value. The Levoit Core 300 costs around ₱2,000 more for a finer H13 filter but a lower CADR and no sensor or app. The budget units cost less and mostly publish nothing.
