The Xiaomi Smart Camera C301 is our Best Value indoor camera: 2K at 3MP, 360° pan and tilt, and a physical lens shield, backed by more than 7,500 owner ratings, for around ₱1,100 as of August 11, 2026.

Why is this the value pick?

Because of what it costs relative to what it does. At around ₱1,100 you get a 2K 3MP sensor, which is our recommended floor for a normal room, plus a mechanical lens shield that makes it usable in a bedroom. Most cameras at this price are still 1080p with a software privacy toggle at best.

The evidence is the other half. 7,500+ ratings at 4.9, with over 10,000 sold, is more owner feedback than any other camera in our catalog. On a device that sits on your home network watching your family, that many people having lived with it matters.

It outclasses Xiaomi’s own C201

This is worth saying plainly. The C201 costs more, is 1080p 2MP instead of 2K 3MP, and has the same lens shield and the same app. The only thing it adds is pet detection.

Unless you specifically need pet filtering, the C301 is the better camera for less money, from the same store.

What is the catch?

Detection is human only, so a dog crossing the room still triggers an alert, and there is no baby-cry or noise detection.

There is also no published warranty period, and, like every Xiaomi camera here, recording needs a microSD card or a cloud plan, neither included.

One listing note: the title calls this an “Indoor & Outdoor Camera Series”, which describes Xiaomi’s line rather than this model. The C301 has no IP rating and a lens shield, both indoor giveaways. For an outdoor wall, buy the CW300, which is rated IP66.

Is it sulit?

Around ₱1,100 as of August 11, 2026, from Xiaomi’s own Shopee Mall store. Check the latest price on Shopee. It undercuts the 1080p field while beating it on resolution, and only the sub-₱1,000 cameras cost less. Very sulit.

Who should buy it

Buy this if you want the most camera for the least money in a bedroom or sala, and you do not have pets setting off alerts. It is the right choice for most first-time buyers. If you need pet or baby-cry alerts, step up to the C302; if the camera is going outside, buy the CW300.
