What problem does it solve?

A specific one, and if it is your problem nothing else here solves it.

Most kitchens that need 8 place settings buy a freestanding machine and give up floor space. The MAX-002JUB puts that capacity on the counter instead, which matters when your kitchen has counter to spare and no floor gap, or when running plumbing to a floor position is not practical.

That is an unusual combination, and it is the reason this machine exists. It is more capacity than any other countertop unit in our ranking, by two full place settings.

How well does it wash?

The 8 programs are the widest set here, and the breadth is genuinely useful rather than spec-sheet padding.

Intensive handles the greasy kawali and adobo pot that defeat Eco cycles. Rapid clears lightly soiled plates cheaply. Glass runs gentler. And the UV sterilization stage sanitizes afterwards, which is worth having for baby bottles and chopping boards.

Where does it struggle?

Price, mostly, and it is worth confronting directly.
