INGCO CDLI206681 20V drill review: 66Nm, but read the model code

The INGCO CDLI206681 is a 66Nm brushless 20V drill sold as a bare tool for around ₱2,900. It’s well built and strong, with a 13mm metal chuck and a 2-speed gearbox. But it has no hammer mode, and INGCO’s near-identical impact version sells for less.

What the 22+1 clutch tells you

Count the settings. 22+1 means 22 torque steps plus a drill mode. The impact sibling reads 22+1+1, and that extra position is the hammer. So despite the big 66Nm number, this drill cannot do masonry. Torque and percussion are different jobs, and no amount of the first replaces the second.

What it does well is wood and metal. 0-500 / 0-2,000 rpm across a mechanical 2-speed gearbox means low gear for grunt and high gear for clean holes, and 66Nm is enough for large hole saws, long structural screws, and pilot holes through steel plate. As a drill/driver it’s genuinely capable.

Is the build good?

Yes. The brushless motor runs cooler and lasts longer than the brushed units at this size, the 13mm metal chuck grips large bits properly, and there’s a spindle lock for one-handed bit changes plus an LED work light. INGCO Philippines states a 6-month service warranty on cordless tools.

You get the drill and two Cr-V driver bits. No battery, no charger, no case.

Is it sulit?

The CIDLI206681 is the same tool with a hammer mode added, and it has been selling at around ₱2,500. Same brand, same platform, same 66Nm, same bare-tool format, and it ships with three masonry bits instead of two driver bits. You’d be paying more to get less capability. Unless the plain version is discounted well below the impact one, there’s no reading where this is the better buy.

And remember both are bare tools. Add a P20S battery and charger and the total climbs toward the full kit price.

Who should buy it

Buy this only if you already own P20S batteries, you’re certain masonry will never come up, and you find it cheaper than the impact version. For most people that’s three conditions too many.
