What does wet and dry actually do?

It collapses two chores into one. The machine sprays cleaning solution, scrubs the floor at 430 rpm under 30N of downward pressure, and vacuums the dirty water straight into a separate tank, all in the same pass.

The tank arrangement is the part that matters: 1,000ml clean, 720ml dirty, plus a 100ml built-in solution dispenser. Clean and dirty water never mix, so every pass puts fresh water and detergent on the floor. That is the specific thing a mop and bucket cannot do, and if you have ever watched a mop redistribute grey water across tile, it is the reason to consider one of these.

At 25,000Pa it also works as a dry vacuum, and it lies flat at 180 degrees to get under a bed or sofa.

The honest limit: this is a hard-floor machine. On carpet and rugs it is the wrong tool, and a household with either still needs a dry stick vacuum. In much of the Philippines, where tile is the default, that is less of a problem than it sounds.

How much work does it save you?

More than the spec sheet suggests, because of the self-cleaning.

The unit washes its own roller with water at about 203F and then dries it with hot air. Anyone who has used a wet cleaner without that feature knows why it matters: a damp roller left in a dock goes sour within a day, and hand-washing it after every clean is the chore that makes people stop using the machine.

Quiet drying runs at 48 dBA against 74 to 75 dBA during cleaning, so the drying cycle is not something you have to leave the room for.

What it adds back is a routine: filling the clean tank, emptying the dirty one, and letting things dry. That is maybe two minutes a session, but it is two minutes a dry vacuum does not ask for.

The comparison people make is against the ₱24,700 Dreame V50 Pro, and it is the wrong one, because these are different machines. The V50 Pro is a better dry vacuum. This one removes mopping.

The right comparison is against your own time. If your floors are mostly tile and you currently vacuum and then mop, this does both in one pass and cleans itself afterwards. If mopping is the chore you actually resent, that is what the money buys.

Runtime is the thing to plan around: 30 minutes on max, the shortest of the flagships here. Wet cleaning tends to happen room by room rather than in one long sweep, so it matters less than the number suggests, but a large house will need a recharge.

On a per-clean basis, twice-weekly use over five years puts around ₱24,000 at about ₱46 a clean. For a wet-dry unit that replaces both a vacuum and a mop, compare that against buying the two separately and the gap narrows considerably.

Who the Roborock cordless vacuum suits

Buy this if your home is mostly tile or hardwood and mopping is the part you hate. It is the right choice for a Filipino household with hard floors throughout, especially with kids or spills, and the hot self-cleaning is what makes it something you will keep using. If you have carpet or rugs anywhere significant, buy a dry stick vacuum instead and keep the mop.
