Ingco HESA3303 30kg electronic scale review

At around ₱1,500 as of August 20, 2026, with a 30kg capacity, a 2g graduation, a 330x240mm platform and rechargeable power. It publishes more than almost anything else on this page, and it is not really a kitchen scale.

It beats the other bench scale on both numbers

The Powerhouse PH-BDWS-30KG is around ₱1,900 on a similar date, with the same 30kg capacity, the same 330x240mm platform, and a 5g graduation.

So this one is around ₱400 cheaper and reads in steps two and a half times finer. Nothing on either listing works the other way.

That is unusually clear for this category, where most listings publish neither figure. When two products both state their specs, the comparison is finally possible, and here it goes one way.

What a bench scale is actually for

A 30kg ceiling with 2g steps is a commercial shape: weighing sacks of rice, boxes for shipping, produce at a stall, parts in a workshop. Ingco is a tool brand rather than a kitchen one, and the rechargeable power and the large platform fit that use.

In a home kitchen, almost nothing weighs 30kg, and the things that need weighing accurately weigh under 500g. A 2g graduation means 7g of yeast reads as 6g or 8g, and every digital scale has a minimum below which it registers nothing, which on a 30kg cell is not small.

So this is the right scale for a sari-sari store, a small business shipping parcels, or a household buying rice and meat in bulk. It is the wrong scale for baking.

Where rechargeable earns its place

Bench scales get used many times a day, which is exactly where a rechargeable battery beats the coin cells in a kitchen scale. A stall owner does not want to hunt for batteries mid-morning.

For a home kitchen the opposite is true: a scale used twice a week and left flat in a drawer is more annoying to recharge than to re-battery.

Calibration and a flat surface

Two things worth knowing about any large scale.

Put it on something hard and level. A bench scale on a soft or uneven surface reads badly, and the error grows with the load.

And check it against a known weight when it arrives. A 1kg bag of sugar or a litre of water is close enough to tell you whether the reading is sane, which at this price is worth two minutes.
