WHISKAS adult wet pouch 80g 14-pack review

Fourteen single-serve pouches, which is two weeks of one-a-day topping. The food is fine. The price per pouch is the thing to look at first.

The small box costs like the big box

At around ₱442 as of August 1, 2026 for 14 pouches, this is roughly ₱32 a pouch, or about ₱395 a kilo.

The WHISKAS 28-pack at around ₱756 works out at roughly ₱27 a pouch. So you pay about a fifth more per meal for the convenience of committing to half as much.

Oddly, the WHISKAS 56-pack lands at roughly the same price per pouch as this small box. The 28 is the outlier in the range, and it is the one to buy at any volume.

When a fortnight is exactly right

There is a real case for the small box. You are trying WHISKAS on a cat who has refused three other brands. You are travelling and want a short supply. You are feeding a foster or a temporary guest. Or your storage is one shelf in a hot kitchen and you would rather not keep six weeks of food on it.

For any of those, paying a few pesos more per pouch to avoid a box you might throw away is the right call.

The single-serve advantage nobody prices in

An 80g pouch is roughly one adult cat’s wet meal, so nothing goes back in the fridge. That matters more in Philippine weather than the packaging suggests: an opened 400g can has to be covered and chilled, and a bowl of gravy left out in a warm kitchen does not stay good for long.

If you have one cat and no reliable fridge space, pouches solve a problem cans create, and that is worth part of the premium on its own.

What the pouch will not tell you

No crude protein, no fat, no moisture on the listing. The WHISKAS 7kg dry bag publishes 30% protein and 12% moisture. The pouches publish nothing.

They are also adult-only, labelled from one year up, so a kitten in the house needs its own food rather than a share of these.

Who should buy the 14-pack

Buy this if you are trying the brand on a fussy cat, feeding short-term, or short on storage. It is the right size for finding out and the wrong size for feeding.

Once you know your cat eats it, move to the 28-pack and buy that twice.
