Goodest cat wet food 6-pouch pack review

Small packs almost always cost more per serving. This one does not, and that changes what it is for.

A trial pack with no trial premium

At around ₱164 as of August 1, 2026 for six 85g pouches, this comes to roughly ₱322 a kilo.

The Goodest 48-pack works out at about ₱319 a kilo. The Goodest 24-pack is about ₱321.

That is a one percent spread across an eight-fold difference in box size. Compare it with the WHISKAS pouch range on the same page, where the 56-pack costs nearly a fifth more per pouch than the 28, and you can see how unusual flat pricing is.

The practical result: if you have never fed Goodest, there is no reason to gamble on a big box. Buy six.

How to actually use three flavors

Tuna, chicken and mackerel in one pack is a test kit, so run it as one. Feed a single flavor for two days rather than rotating daily, and judge by what gets finished, not by whether your cat came over to look.

Cats also change their minds. A flavor a cat loves for three weeks can stop being eaten with no warning, which is the real argument for keeping two flavors in the house rather than one.

Six pouches is not a supply

Fed as a daily topper over kibble, this is under a week. As a complete diet it is about a day and a half, since a 4kg adult cat needs roughly 200 to 250 kcal a day and a gravy-style pouch supplies a small part of that.

Nobody should buy this expecting it to feed a cat. It exists to answer a question.

What is printed on the pack

Goodest publishes an analysis, which fewer than a third of the cat foods we list bother to do: 7% crude protein, 1.5% fat, 1% fibre and up to 87% moisture on the tuna variant.

Seven percent reads poorly against a kibble bag until you remember that most of the pouch is water. Take it out and roughly 54% of what remains is protein, which is well above any dry food on this page.

Who should buy the six

Buy this if you are switching a cat onto wet food, your cat has refused something else recently, or you want to keep a couple of spare pouches for days when the kibble is ignored. It is the right size for finding out and it costs no more per meal than committing.

Once you know which flavor wins, move up a box size for the reordering rather than for the money.
