A teen multivitamin for boys from an Australian brand, formulated separately from the adult men’s line. It’s one of very few teen-specific options here that isn’t built around chlorella growth factor.

Swisse makes this as its own product rather than repackaging the men’s Ultivite, which is the right way to build an age-specific supplement. Teenagers have different requirements from adults, particularly during growth, and a formula that acknowledges that is worth more than one that doesn’t.

Worth a word with the pediatrician

Any supplement for a teenager is worth raising with their doctor, and this one particularly, because the amounts aren’t published and a pediatrician can say whether they’re appropriate for your child’s age and size.

It’s also worth asking the more basic question first. A teenager who eats reasonably and sleeps enough may not need a supplement at all, and the ones who most benefit are those with genuinely poor diets, where the honest fix is the food.
