10 Best electric kettles in the Philippines (2026)

An electric kettle is the cheapest appliance in the kitchen that you use every single day. Which is why it is worth spending ten minutes on, and why the wrong one annoys you for years.

Split by what the kettle is for

We started from the electric kettles actually selling on Shopee PH, then split them by what they are for: general household boiling on one side, gooseneck coffee kettles on the other. Both are in this list, judged against their own job.

From there we ranked on four things:

• Published wattage and build. Brands that state watts, capacity, and what the inner pot is made of rank above ones that state nothing. Three listings here publish almost no specs, and we say so in their reviews rather than guessing.
• Safety design. A named cutout like Strix, boil-dry protection, a cool-touch body, a lid that will not spill if the kettle goes over.

How long will you wait for a boil?

• Wattage decides how long you wait. 2200W is the fast end, 1500W the slow one.
• Capacity should match your household. 1.7L for a family, 1.0L to 1.2L for one or two people.
• A double wall keeps the outside cool and the water hot. It is the main safety upgrade.

Which one should you buy?

For most Filipino homes, the Philips HD9395/90 is the buy: fast, full-size, cool to touch, and backed by a named safety cutout. Spend less and the Asahi EK-175 gets you nearly the same speed with hundreds more owner ratings behind it. Spend less again and the Xiaomi glass kettle matches the wattage for a third of the money, as long as you accept glass. And if the kettle is really for coffee, the TIMEMORE Fish Pro X is a different tool for a different job.
